He's currently working on a new album and gearing up for live gigs, poised to leave a lasting mark in the world of Hard Rock. For fans who have never heard your music, can you pick three words to describe it?! If three words just aren't enough then tell us more!!
1. Energetic 2. Catchy 3. Nostalgic
The music is characterized by its high-energy performances, with a blend of hard-hitting grooves and memorable melodies that are instantly catchy. Drawing from influences of the 80s rock era, the music evokes a sense of nostalgia while still bringing a fresh and modern sound to the table.
What is your favorite part about being an artist? Is it songwriting, performing, recording, something else? Tell us why.
Recording is my favorite. The recording process allows me to capture my music in a permanent form and create polished, high-quality recordings. It provides an opportunity for experimentation, collaboration with producers and studio engineers, and the chance to bring the vision to fruition.
Can you tell us what being in the recording studio is like for you?
The recording studio is a dedicated space where I can focus solely on my music. It's a creative environment where ideas can flow, and experimentation is encouraged. I often feel inspired and motivated while working in a professional studio setting. It's just a great place to be in as an artist because you know, in the end, things are getting done right.
Okay, this a fun question. When you are not doing music, what else do you enjoy doing?
I do like working on video production stuff in my free time. I'm also a carpenter by trade so there is always something going on to keep me busy.
Who do you admire most in the music scene today and why?
I admire anyone who takes the time to build something in music. It's a long hard road with many twists and turns. You need within that keeps you going. In saying that, I haven't changed much; I still listen to the old school Rock stuff on 11.
Can you tell us what song you've written that is the most emotional and describe the meaning behind it?
"Find Your Way (Demons In Life )" is a song I wrote in a dark time of my life. It's about being lost and finding your way home. I just did a duet mix that came out over the summer. It was originally recorded with Phil Greene as my producer. He had a extensive discography including The New Kids On The Block, Mick Jagger, and The Black Crowes, just to name a few.
Are you working on any new material right now or what's in the works for the upcoming year?
Yes, I'm doing studio tracks as we speak and will be putting out a single in October. I'm looking to start doing live dates by the end of the year.
