For fans who have never heard your music, can you pick three words to describe it?!
If three words just aren't enough..then tell us more!!: Original and feelings-based.
What is your favorite part about being an artist? Is it songwriting, performing, recording, something else?) Tell us why.
I don’t consider myself an artist but rather a composer. I am proficient at songwriting, performing, and recording enough to not feel the need to do it myself but rather to help focus others and provide them the infrastructure to access themselves in my process.
Can you tell us what being in the recording studio is like for you?
Being In a recording studio for me is like going into the most comfortable bedroom in the world and relaxing while calmly observing myself.
Okay, this a fun question. When you are not doing music, what else do you enjoy doing?
Going to the library.
Who do you admire most in the music scene today and why?
I admire the passion, ingenuity, and perseverance of new artists because it’s challenging working in and with an industry that doesn’t know itself enough to provide consistent rules and regulations for profit on both sides.
Can you tell us what song you've written that is the most emotional and describe the meaning behind it?
This song describes my firsthand account of watching some of the most talented artists and musicians get taken advantage of by an industry that cares very little about their well-being as individuals through a process that's more ruthless than Wall Street. Not from a victim standpoint, but from a standpoint of a survivor.
Are you working on any new material right now or what's in the works for the upcoming year?
No. Anything new the public will experience is from my past. I no longer work on new material for no other reason than I don’t have anything left to say in words and/or musically. I’m content with the insight I’ve provided the world. Life is short and there is no one in the world that played harder than I did.
