Taylor Fangmann
Taylor Fangmann was born in Ohio and raised in a town of fewer than 1200 people. Taylor is a small-town girl with big-city dreams. She was able to convince her family to move to Los Angeles to allow her to pursue a career in acting. Coming from a military family, until now Taylor spent most of her life moving around. While some see the disadvantages of moving from place to place, Taylor saw it as the perfect way to explore new places, learn about new cultures, and meet new people. These life experiences have led her to find the positive in every situation.
Taylor's bright light of positivity shines through in everything she does, whether posing for pictures on a red carpet or presenting new ideas to her favorite charities. Aside from acting, her passion is raising awareness to the needs of those with Down Syndrome. Having a little sister with Down Syndrome has taught Taylor the importance of inclusivity and kindness for those with special needs. Taylor's ultimate goal is to be a bright light in the world, lighting the way for not only her sister but for those that need a little extra support, love, and kindness. Quickly becoming a typical SoCal teen, Taylor enjoys traveling, going to Disney, and spending time with her friends.
For fans who have never heard your music, can you pick three words to describe it?! If three words just aren't enough then tell us more!!
If I had to describe my music in three words I would say the country, storytelling, and most importantly from a place of love.
What is your favorite part about being an artist? Is it songwriting, performing, recording, something else?) Tell us why.
My favorite part about being an artist is being able to tell and have listeners feel related to the music.
Can you tell us what being in the recording studio is like for you?
For me being in the studio is like being in my own little world where I can be vulnerable and share the stories I want to tell though music then head in the box to record it.
Okay, this a fun question. When you are not doing music, what else do you enjoy doing?
When I'm not making music, I like to do acting and modeling but outside of work stuff, I like spending time with family, friends, traveling, snowboarding and I always love writing music.
Who do you admire most in the music scene today and why?
The person I admire the most in the music industry is probably Taylor Swift because I love how original and organic her music sounds. Funny thing is I was named after her. My mom saw her opening a small country music concert in Florida on 4 of July in 2006, crazy right.
Can you tell us what song you've written that is the most emotional and describe the meaning behind it?
Well I have always written music, but this is the first song coming out, and the meaning behind the song is losing someone or someone passing, friendship breakup, and romantic breakup.
Are you working on any new material right now or what's in the works for the upcoming year?
I am definitely working on new music so keep an eye out for this upcoming year of new music from me.
