SnapDibz

SnapDibz is an independent American born Indian rapper. After years of underground music with DJ Dibz, he decided to continue the music and kept the name SnapDibz while Dibz took another turn. SnapDibz released their first professional EP in 2020 and has continued releasing since then.

Currently they are working on a project with the talented Rey Khan.

What is your favorite part about being an artist? Is it songwriting, performing, recording, something else?) Tell us why.

I enjoy the songwriting and recording process. I also enjoy the artistry with creating the videos and art work as well. I also enjoy working with other artists in collaboration projects.

Can you tell us what being in the recording studio is like for you?

It feels like your ideas are finally coming to reality. It's fun getting your words on the track before the mix is completed as you're still "creating." Getting things right can be frustrating but the hard work pays off.

Okay, this a fun question. When you are not doing music, what else do you enjoy doing?

I enjoy spending time with my family and kids and hanging out with friends.

Who do you admire most in the music scene today and why?

I admire Ed Sheeran. I feel he's very versatile and has created a huge name for himself. Everything he touches is gold!

Can you tell us what song you've written that is the most emotional and describe the meaning behind it?

Memory Lane is a fairly emotional track about losing someone to cancer. Someone recently had mentioned to me their loss and the emotions that followed were tangible. I took the concept and ran with it. Rey brought a beautiful chorus and I feel the verses do the chorus justice. We came up with the idea of memory lane which has a double meaning and created the song from there.

Are you working on any new material right now or what's in the works for the upcoming year?

Rey and I are continuing our collaboration project and definitely have some more tracks coming soon. March 18th will be the next release called "Sometimes."

Under "SnapDibz" the music is on the largest platforms including apple, spotify, Tidal etc.

All of our music videos and lyric videos can be found on YouTube under "SnapDibz." We have some "real" music vides but also lots of cool animated videos with great imagery. "Sometimes" will feature Snap again in front of the camera.
