For fans who have never heard your music, can you pick three words to describe it? My music varies- my EP is more on the upbeat side, but my newest single being released soon is a ballad song and very melodic. In general, I would say my music relays storytelling and expression. What is your favorite part about being an artist? Is it songwriting, performing, recording, something else?) Tell us why. My favorite part about being an artist isn’t necessarily the tasks I’m doing while making a song, it’s the way it makes me feel that is so special. Telling a story through singing is a form of expression that makes my brain think and process in such a different way, and that feeling is my favorite part through any song process.
Can you tell us what being in the recording studio is like for you? Being in the studio always makes me feel so excited, creative energy is always flowing and working with my producer and songwriter is always so much fun. When it comes to our process, it consists of a songwriting session with my co-writer, and right when we finish writing I’ll always lay down a rough track in the studio. A few days later, I’ll come back to record the official vocals and harmonies for the song.
Okay, this a fun question. When you are not doing music, what else do you enjoy doing? I love to work on little creative projects such as writing scripts and editing, spend time with my family and friends, go to trampoline parks, and take advantage of the free time I have and just relax. Who do you admire most in the music scene today and why? My favorite is The Weeknd. I have his music on replay and truly look up to his creative artistry. I think his music is so versatile and well done, and he is able to create the perfect mix of genuine storytelling, while also creating a unique vibe in his songs.
Can you tell us what song you've written that is the most emotional and describe the meaning behind it? The most emotional song I’ve written is the one that is being released very soon. It is dedicated to Alzheimer's and it’s about the pain of seeing a person’s mind fade right before your eyes.
Are you working on any new material right now or what's in the works for the upcoming year? I’m working on starting to film some new music videos for my EP, as well as getting ready to write more music! Can you give us a few places where fans can find your music? LinkTree
