For fans who have never heard your music, can you pick three words to describe it?! Soothing, Sweet, & Nostalgic What is your favorite part about being an artist? Is it songwriting, performing, recording, something else? For me, writing the instrumental is my favorite part. I rarely have an idea in mind when I go to write something but a new song always comes from it. Can you tell us what being in the recording studio is like for you? I've recorded at several studios including here in the Nashville area (Blackbird and Dark Horse) but I find recording in my home studio to be my favorite. I love the intimacy and convenience of it.
Okay, this a fun question. When you are not doing music, what else do you enjoy doing?
Generally exploring, going on hikes, and drinking coffee. Who do you admire most in the music scene today and why? Dayglow would be the most relevant in the scene today. I love Owl City but he's not as active. But in regards to Dayglow, I love his innocence but vulnerability lyrically and with his image. Musically he takes such a unique approach too and is always changing it up. I also really love how he's evolving his sound and really into incorporating synths into his music. His first album Fuzzybrain holds a big place in my heart. It's beautiful yet also bittersweet. Can you tell us what song you've written that is the most emotional and describe the meaning behind it? This is very hard, as most are very emotional to me. In regards to LAVENDER HONEY, I'd probably say my 2nd single of 2022, Cold Water. Are you working on any new material right now or what's in the works for the upcoming year? I am working on lots of new music yes! I am planning to release at least 1 song a month for all of 2022 and planning to play some shows as well.
