For fans who have never heard your music, can you pick three words to describe it?! If three words just aren't enough then tell us more!!

Positivity, funky, fun! This describes my upcoming new album, 'SHINE THIS LIFETIME' to a T! The album is an explosion of happiness because that is what this world needs right about now. :)

What is your favorite part about being an artist? Is it songwriting, performing, recording, something else?) Tell us why.

I love that being a musician is full of new adventures every step of the way. Every show that I perform brings new friends, fans and experiences! Songwriting is such a cathartic way to bring out my emotions and I don’t know what I would do without that outlet! I love that that being an artist isn’t a set routine; I’m always going to be surrounded by creativity!

Can you tell us what being in the recording studio is like for you?

Recording, for me, is such a beautiful expression of who I am. I love when my ideas become a symphony of thought. I am also so fortunate to have my incredible and legendary musician father as my producer and engineer. We are a great father daughter team!

Okay, this a fun question. When you are not doing music, what else do you enjoy doing?

I love this question! I love running and hiking! For me, it is a great rush of endorphins to my brain and I even write lyrics while on the treadmill or in the forest.

Who do you admire most in the music scene today and why?

I love the feeling of community and the vibration of creative energy. I actually just finished the music video second single ‘SHINE THIS LIFETIME’ and I had a blast on set with other people in the music community. I worked with dancers and directors and we all used our passion to create something amazing!

Can you tell us what song you've written that is the most emotional and describe the meaning behind it?

There is a song on my new album called ‘If You Change’ It is about racial injustice and discrimination against the LGBTQ community. I, first-hand, have seen and felt this discrimination in action and I wanted to use my music as an outlet to try to encourage change. This song highlights the discrimination, yet shows a way of coming together one.

Are you working on any new material right now or what's in the works for the upcoming year?

As I mentioned above, I have an entire new album called ‘SHINE THIS LIFETIME’ coming soon! I wrote all of these songs during the quarantine and I’m so excited to release it! For now, please check out my new single ‘Everybody Say’ and watch the music video with it! The music video is exploding with joy and is half-animated with some furry friends featured!
